The K-Tech DDS (Direct Damping System) cartridge system was developed for the original fork. The DDS cartridge is a pressurized damping system that uses 20mm pistons to produce high oil flow through the 31mm control valves to provide precise damping control. The patented design eliminates cavitation and makes the system very stable even under extreme conditions. The damping circuits are designed to work independently of each other (unbalanced system) to improve dynamics and response time. The system is pressurized by a spring force, which keeps it stable under all working conditions.
