Through-Rod Technology TRDS-R Shock, where the 'R' stands for 'Regulation', is derived from the same technology used by top motorcycle racers and is now accessible in a package designed for riders and teams those dealing with the championship's latest pricing restrictions or the more relaxed racers looking to significantly improve their lap times, but with limited support from sponsors.
The new K-Tech TRDS-R shock absorber systems are the lightest on the market due to a more compact design that no longer requires an external reservoir, as well as a revised internal composition. This new design also significantly improves heat dissipation; a problem that most riders are unaware of as during a race heat can gradually affect the characteristics of the suspension without the rider noticing due to the gradual changes. The TRDS-R is better at eliminating this heat buildup compared to the competition, providing consistent and reliable performance throughout a race.
K-Tech's Through-Rod technology can be tuned extremely precisely not only because of its adjustable design, but also because riders have a much clearer picture of how the motorcycle is performing during a race, allowing for more accurate sharing of information to the teams' technicians.
